Home Is on the Back of a Horse

I grew up on a ranch with four horses and free rein (literally and metaphorically). It turned me into quite the thrill seeker.

My love for horses turned into competitive showjumping very quickly, and I think that level of adrenaline on a regular basis changes you. I feel at home when I'm on the back of a horse. Whether it's flying over a jump or galloping on the ocean, there's no better feeling.

I've had 5 concussions because of it, but I wouldn't go back and change anything.

Packing horses through the wilderness is where I'm happiest. That's a level of peace and freedom not many people get to experience, and I'm very grateful I've gotten the opportunity.

Next, I'm chasing getting my own ranch! Having horses at home is the best.
